Well it all started as an idea at the end of 2008.
My partner works in fused glass (www.glassjewels.co.uk) making lovely hand made pieces.
Wouldn't it be a good idea, I thought, to have a directory of like minded hand makers in one place. Then potential customers could come to that place and search for a particular item or product. They may be successful either by coming straight to that directory or by finding that particular makers directory page after a Google search. In either case they can then be in touch with the maker or that makers web page.
So I made a start on Hand Made in Oxford. I hope you find it useful - either as a potential customer or as a maker here.
